I totally mooched money off my parents for the sake of vanity. My father paid to get my eyebrows done, and my mother paid for a beautiful bottle of OPI nailpolish, all because I want to look amazing for Colin's recital tomorrow.
And I didnt make it to the gym.
I didn't indulge in fatty food though - I got Spoon Me instead.
I just ended up feeling like an utter pile of shit for the better part of the afternoon and I decided I would go home. Then I ran into my WONDERFUL, RAY OF SUNSHINE friend named Emma. She offered to take me out for Spoon Me (for those of you who are not aware, it is this wonderful fro yo place introduced to me). This is an offer I cannot refuse because it is only 85 calories, has probiotics and tastes like a buncha good lovin. They have all these amazing flavors like Acai, Green tea, Chocolate and Plain (which tastes like anything but).
So we set off on this adventure and decided to try a new location, the one on 17th ave, instead of the usual Kensington. We paraded around in the sleet for an hour before finally locating it, only to be told this location closed down. I would not give up though, seriously... It's like the ultimate fix EVER.
We just ended up going to Kensington and sat in these wonderful bubble chairs and discussed how it felt like sitting inside an erythrocyte (RBC). Hahahaha, yeah, we're obviously having the time of our lives here.

It was really nice to not think about school for a half hour and just talk about all the wonderful people we've met and the great friends we've made, including each other. Oh, I am SO grateful for people like Emma. Seriously, they are the best kind of people. So thoughtful, caring, and sweet. and GENUINE. I really miss having lots of friends who are genuine.
Today, I just worked, and left to find my car covered in about 8 inches of snow. Wonderful. Even more to be grateful for, right? Just kidding, I hate snow. I should have come straight home and done homework, but instead I just cant help be EXCITED for Colin's recital tomorrow. It is going to be so amazing, he's worked SO hard for it, and I am so proud of him for pulling it together.
So, ofcourse, I wanna look like the most amazing, bionic, beautiful woman there in appreciation of him. (he even thanked me by name in the program!)
I got my eyebrows done, and bought some nailpolish (Thanks, Mom and Dad, for understanding that I am flat broke). I also planned an outfit! I am excited! AH! Pre-show jitters, and I am not even playing!
Pics to come.
Sleep tight everyone, as I will be staying up till 3 in the morning to finish all my homework, and I do not wish that plight on anyone else.
xo
